IMPORTANT UPDATE on COVID-19 'Proof of Vaccination' Policy:

On October 19th, 2021 Halton Region's Medical Officer of Health instructed that effective November 26th, 2021, all persons 12 years of age and older who attend an indoor area of a sports and recreation facility are required to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19.

What does this mean for Milton Skating Club families?

  • All registered program participants AND spectators aged 12 years and older MUST provide full proof (2 doses) of Covid-19 vaccination to enter the building.
  • All coaches, volunteers and officiators aged 12 years and older MUST provide proof full (2 doses) of Covid-19 vaccination to enter the building.

As we return to indoor recreation, remember to download your enhanced vaccine certificate. The Town will only be able to accept the enhanced vaccine certificate with QR code and the Verify Ontario app. The QR code can be used digitally or by printing a paper copy. You need to show Government-issued I.D. along with the QR code. For those born in 2010 click on this link:  https://skateontario.org/vaccination-after-january-1-2021/

Physician notes for medical exemptions are no longer able to be accepted. Medical exemptions must be noted on QR certificates. Information on how to obtain a medical exemption noted on your QR certificate can be found by visiting the Ontario COVID-19 proof of vaccination website.

If you have any questions or need additional information please see attached link from the Town of Milton:

Please be reminded that we expect Milton SC families to be kind and courteous to the screeners and staff when entering the building.  The staff is there to do a job and enforce the rules and guidelines outlined by the provincial government.   We thank all of our families that have been supportive during this time and are confident that this will continue.

Please have your proof of vaccination and ID ready before you enter the building as this will help the process move more efficiently.

Thank you in advance for your support and understanding as we move into a busy skating season.
