Official Notice of the Annual General Meeting
In accordance with the Milton Skating Club bylaw #24, official notice is hereby given of the upcoming Annual General meeting to be held as follows:
Date: Monday, September 19, 2016
Time: 7:00 P.M.
Place: Milton Sports Centre, Banquet Room
We will register members for the meeting in accordance with the rules of Skate Canada. The registration desk will open at 5:30 P.M. and close at 6:45 P.M. Only registered members will be permitted to vote.
Call for Nominations
The Milton Skating Club Board of Directors is making a call for nominations to the Board for the 2016-2017 season. To date, the board of directors has been successful in securing the acceptance of nominations to run for the board from the following candidates:
- Amy Shillington
- Tracy Pereira
- Danyelle Ellis
- Diana Franco
- Trish MacFarlane
The slate of nominees is still open, as there are still 4 vacancies on the board for the 2016-2017 season. In accordance with the Milton Skating Club bylaw #36, nominations may be made by any member in good standing by a written submission to the Board of Directors at least 3 days before the Annual Meeting. Each nominee must indicate acceptance in writing prior to the commencement of elections. Nominations from the floor at the Annual Meeting will not be accepted.
We encourage you to attend this meeting, not only to be aware of the successes of our club but also to participate in setting the future direction of the Milton Skating Club. Your board of directors values your suggestions, your questions, as well as your innovative ideas. We look forward to seeing you.

Figure Skating Registration Opens

*WEDNESDAY PA SESSION TIME CHANGE 7:25-8:10*
Please remember to register for only 2 PA sessions.
If you would like to do more session please let Danielle or Meghan
know and they will contact you if/when you are needed.
All skaters have been emailed thier ranking.

Adult and Power programs.
We are offering a SEASON PASS again this year.
Save $100 on your registration, enroll your skater into one lesson each season (Quickstart, Fall, Winter & Spring).
This is a limited time offer, the same skater must be enrolled, level changes are allowed as your skater progresses.

Star 1 Camp
- 60 min on ice per day (Mon-Fri)

- Detailed Schedule emailed weekly (based on registration)
- Week 6: Aug 8-Aug 12 $155 Week 8: Aug 22-Aug 26 $155
Level 1 Singles Skaters must meet at least 1 of the following requirements...
• Skaters planning to compete at the November 2016 Sectionals in Juvenile or higher
• Skaters passed complete Sr Bronze Freeskate or higher.
Level 2 Singles Skaters must be ready to compete STAR 2.
Please consult your coach as eligibility for this session requires both coach and technical director approval.
Star 1 Camp Skaters must have passed pre-star 1 or skated STAR 1 in the spring.
